In the sequence of photographs above we can see the "prima nave"
with the hull awash, a shot with the hull partly clear of the water and
then finally the ship completely on dry land.
With the removal of the first ship from the waters of the lake the effort
was on for the second ship. As the water level continued to drop it too
gradually appeared and finally its timbers were laid bare for archaeologists
and engineers to begin its conservation, study and preparations for removal.
