One of the biggest long term goals that we have been working towards has just been realised this month. The Ministero dei Beni Culturali e Ambientali has given us its official patronage and with this prestigious award we should find it much easier to find the necessary sponsorship for the project.

We have now reached the point where we have a set of drawings showing the possible location of the ship during construction between the museum and the lake. The first section to be built will be the first 12metres from the bow. Already we have an agreement with the Army that they will transport the section by helicopter from the shipyard at Torre del Greco to the construction site at the lakeside.

This event in itself should be a great spectacle and will lend itself to being a "media event" which we will obviously try to make the most of.
